Welcome to the joy of having an infrared sauna for your home or business. We are so happy you've chosen Sunlighten to help you on your next step toward feeling better, doing more and living fully. Now the anticipation begins! Read on to learn more about the multi-step process involved in delivering your Sunlighten. Your estimated ship date will vary based on the model you purchased.

1.
Getting Ready

We have received your order and we are getting your sauna ready to ship. Once your sauna is prepped for shipping and checked out of our warehouse, you will receive an email confirmation from Sunlighten. You will receive a call from our shipping carrier within 3-7 working days to arrange your preferred delivery date. The day before your agreed delivery, you will also receive tracking information. This will also contain direct contact information of your delivery crew.

If you have not already purchased the installation service and wish to do so, this must be arranged with your Sales Representative prior to the delivery date arrangement with the shipping carrier. We will be unable to approve requests for installation on the date of delivery.

We've Got Movement

Please allow 7-10 business days from the ship date for the sauna to reach you.

From your end, we advise you to triple-check measurements and electrical. At this point, you have probably crossed this off the list, but it doesn’t hurt to review the specifications to ensure you are ready to set up your sauna. Check dimensions of the largest sauna panel to be sure it will fit through the pathway to its final location. If required, install a dedicated circuit with appropriate power specifications.

We've Got Movement

This will be a room of choice delivery. If there are several stairs or the garage is around the front of the house, please make our Sunlighten Logistics team and our shipping carrier aware via phone or email. Delivery companies have strict rules for delivery. Any additional information will help to ensure smooth delivery.

On your end, please prepare for a large delivery. Your sauna will be carefully packaged across two to three large, mattress-sized boxes, each weighing 59kg or more. The sauna packaging will be removed and taken away by the shipping carrier for safekeeping for 30 days. Should you wish to keep the packaging, please make us aware in advance. In any case, due to the size and weight of some of the boxes, some of the panels must be removed from the packaging and moved individually in order to gain access to the room of choice.

If you do take delivery with the boxes intact, please be prepared with at least two people (or more for larger units) to unpack all the panels and assemble them in their final location.

Shipping Damage Procedure

In the event a box is damaged during delivery, it is important to follow these three steps so we can quickly resolve the situation. 

1. Take possession of damaged cartons. Most damage tends to be the packaging and not the actual sauna unit. 

2. Note damage on the Proof of Delivery and contact Sunlighten UK within two days (reports beyond two days cannot be reimbursed by Sunlighten UK OR the shipping company unless pre-approved). 

3. Contact Sunlighten UK to report damage and for replacement parts if needed at 0330 808 1203 and choose shipping or email at ukshipping@sunlighten.com.
